I have heard it said so many times before that not everyone can teach. That saying astounds me more year after year. I just can’t see how that is possible. I guess because it’s something that has always come to me so easily and naturally. Teaching drum lessons is just something I love to do. No monetary value can be placed upon the reward I get from seeing a student progress as a drummer and musician. No matter what the goal is—whether it is to move to first chair drummer in school band, learn to rock out in his or her rock band, or even the business professional just looking for a hobby with no band aspirations at all—I love to see someone develop his or her drumming skills with my help. I thank the Lord every day for the wonderful gift of performing and experiencing music and the ability to share it and pass it on to others. I guess my love for playing and teaching drums is what keeps me enthusiastic about it. And heck, if it’s fun for the teacher, chances are pretty darn good that it’s going to be fun for the student as well, wouldn’t you agree?
I teach Monday through Saturday. Monday through Friday I generally teach in the afternoons and evenings. On Saturdays I teach all day.
My students come from all over Houston, Texas and surrounding areas — Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Clear Lake, etc.
Lessons are thirty minutes long, taught once a week. Hour slots are available if desired.
All cancellations must be made at least one day in advance. If you cancel on the same day as the lesson or if you just don’t show, you will be charged for that lesson. To cancel and schedule a make up, call my voicemail 281-679-6328 and leave a message.
